The short version. You pay monthly for Smart Stay and can stop whenever you like. We take no commission on your bookings. If it is not working for you in the first thirty days, we refund you.

Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between OPUS Technology of Abuja, Nigeria and the hotel, shortlet or apartment business that opens a Smart Stay account. Using the product means accepting them.

What we provide

A booking page on your own address, a guest check-in page, a front desk, an owner overview and support. The features included depend on the plan you choose. Some features are described on our site as Coming; those are on the roadmap and are not part of what you are paying for today.

Payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Paystack, on the same day each month. Prices are shown on our pricing page in naira. If a renewal fails we will tell you and keep your account running for a grace period before restricting access.

We charge no commission on your bookings. What a guest pays settles into your own account through your own Paystack subaccount. Paystack's own transaction fees are between you and Paystack.

The thirty-day refund

If Smart Stay is not making your property easier to run, tell us within thirty days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain yourself and there is no form.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time and the account stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not lock you into a contract. Your data remains yours — ask and we will export or delete it.

What we ask of you

Keep your login details and your front-desk PIN to your own staff.
Only put content on your booking page that you have the right to use, including photographs.
Do not use Smart Stay to break the law or to hold data you have no right to hold.
Tell your guests how their information is used — the record is yours, not ours.

Availability

We work to keep Smart Stay running at all times and support is available 24/7, but no online service is available every second. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses caused by an interruption, by your own internet connection, or by a third party such as Paystack or a power outage.

Where something is within our control, we fix it. That is the commitment we can honestly make.

Your data

Your guests' information belongs to you. We process it on your instructions to run the product, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell it and we do not use it to market to your guests.

Limits

Smart Stay is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Smart Stay after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
